Vehicle Servicing

Midland VW offer main dealer level servicing for all V.A.G group cars and smaller vans  (Caddy van and Transporters we do not cater for larger commercial vans like the Crafter etc), our servicing will meet and in some cases exceed the manufacturer requirements.

Our servicing will not effect any manufacturer vehicle warranty. All of our servicing is priced specifically to the vehicle, please provide the full registration and mileage for all quotes. We are fully equipped with the main dealer software and have access to record the digital service records if required.

Our Interim Service Includes

• Oil and filter change 
• Pollen filter change optional and subject to additional cost please advise
• Multi Point inspection and report
• Diagnostic check of engine ecu
• Service indicator reset
• Service book stamped
• Road test
• Other fluid levels checked and topped up where necessary (excludes Automatic Transmissions)

Our Full Service Includes

• Oil and filter change
• Pollen filter change
• Fuel filter change where possible
• Air filter change
• Spark plugs changed (petrol models only)
• Multipoint inspection and report
• Diagnostic check of engine ecu
• Service indicator reset
• Service book stamped
• Road test
• Other fluid levels checked and topped up where necessary (excludes Automatic Transmissions)

We recommend an Interim service followed by a full service and so on. We are also able to offer more bespoke service options please contact us with your requirements.

• All service work includes a V.A.T receipt and service book stamped.
• Our servicing will meet the manufacturer requirements where vehicle warranty is concerned.
• Only genuine or carefully selected branded and Original Manufacturer parts are used (O.E specification and better).
• Significant savings over dealer prices.
• Latest specification oil which meets and in some cases exceeds your vehicle requirements.
• Only Genuine (Quantum etc) or Millers fluids generally used (we can sometimes cater for specific brands at request, various upgrades on oil are also available)

Cambelt Replacements

Cambelt replacements are due at various times dependant on the make and model of your vehicle, if unsure please send your reg over and we will check for you. Cambelt replacements include:

• Cambelt 
• Rollers and tensioners
• Water pump and coolant (if driven by cam belt)

Other service tasks: 

• Haldex oil and filter changes - every 20k miles for oil and 40k miles for oil and filter where fitted
• Brake fluid changes required every 2 years
• Gear box oil changes inc DSG and Auto generally every 40k miles
• Air con servicing recommended every 2 years
• Wheel alignment checks recommended annually
• Fuel pump cam follower replacement on certain models such as 2.0 TFSI

M.O.Ts

Midland VW have the latest spec ATL MOT test bay.

Your vehicle can be inspected and MOT'd while you relax in our comfortable reception, where you can enjoy a warm drink and view the whole process through our workshop viewing window.

MOT's are £50 and we do not charge a retest fee providing vehicle is returned for retest within the 10 working day period. Should your vehicle subsquently fail again a full MOT test will be required and charged at the standard rate. This does not apply to vehicles left on site for repairs, only vehicles taken away for repairs else where.
